Friendly staff. Great location for touring. Mrs E, Rotherham, South Yorkshire 09 November 2010
Great location as had sea view one side and mountains other. Staff very helpful and friendly. Very high standard of cleanliness and caravan had everything we needed. Very warm too which is great if you have kids. Mrs E, Bognor Regis, West Sussex 01 November 2010
Fantastic holiday park, amazing beach nearby and easy access to lots of local places to visit. Staff on site very helpful and informative. Mr Q, Westcliff-on-sea, Essex 12 October 2010
Lovely caravan park, very quiet but provides a good base for exploring the Lakes. Well looked after caravan and fully stocked kitchen e.g. pots, pans etc. We would definitely consider returning another year. Mr K, Bradford, West Yorkshire 14 September 2010
The caravan was clean and tidy, had a lovely view and was well situated for the beach (5 mins walk if that), and to my surprise we had our own rotary washing line! We used the park as a base and found lots to do in the area - waterskiing, horse riding, plenty of walks and the lakes are not far away for boat rides and kayacking. Mrs F, Wakefield 01 September 2010
Lovely, peaceful location very close to the beach. Very safe for children - we have one with special needs and it was ideal. Good pub food at Kirksanton and Black Combe Mountain is worth a climb too. Mrs P, SANDY, Bedfordshire 31 August 2010
Although remote, the site cannot be faulted and the accommodation was by far the best we have stayed in to date. The people running the site were exceptionally friendly and helpful and with its close proximity to the beach we would strongly recommend this holiday if you wish a quiet and relaxing break!! Mrs R, GLASGOW, South Lanarkshire 07 July 2010
Very quiet site. Beautiful surroundings. Friendly family run site. Had a great time will be looking to return there next year. Couldn't fault it. Miss W, BIRKENHEAD, Merseyside 01 July 2010
We found our perfect short break here. The site is situated a two minute walk to a beautifully simple pebbled beach. It was fantastic to see the sea in one direction and the mountain in the other. What more could you ask for?! Miss C, Skegness, Lincolnshire 01 June 2010
Great quiet location away from it all but close to the beach and not too far from the Lakes and the wonderful West Coast train line. Mr H, LYTHAM ST. ANNES, Lancashire 26 May 2010
Very clean and tidy accommodation and the staff were very friendly and able to offer some advise on where to visit as we were new to the Lakes. Mrs H, Bracknell, Berkshire 08 May 2010
Fantastic location, friendly welcome, safe for children, brilliant holiday! Mr T, Newton Stewart, Wigtownshire 27 April 2010
We would definitely recommend Silecroft as an excellent place to relax and unwind away from it all. The park is situated very near to the beach, which you can walk down for miles (pebbles not sand). There is good road access to the rest of the Lake District and there are reasonable food shopping facilities in Millom, however, there are no shops in the village itself, so we would recommend bringing the things you will need. Overall the area is very scenic and peaceful and the caravan we stayed in was of an excellent standard with modern furnishings and with everything you needed for a lovely holiday. Mrs C, SKELMERSDALE, Lancashire 02 December 2009
Our caravan was placed in an ideal location, we had a view of the sea on one side and a view of the mountain on the other - it was stunning. We came back and told everyone what a lovely place it was (a lot of people hadn't heard of the area) and we are definitely hoping to book there again and take more people with us. Mrs K, OLDHAM, Greater Manchest 11 November 2009
A truly great location near the beach, with good walks on your doorstep, and with easy travel to the western lakes. Mr H, Lytham St. Annes, Lancashire 13 October 2009
It was just as it said. A good location, and a lovely clean, quiet site. Mrs S, PETERLEE, County Durham 09 October 2009
Accommodation is gorgeous and the location fantastic. A really peaceful and tranquil holiday. B, Birmingham, West Midlands 27 September 2009
A nice "off the beaten track" location, the nearby beach is great when the tide rolls out and you wake up to a mountain view and you haev a high standard of accommodation. Mrs H, Crawley, West Sussex 18 September 2009
The park was very clean and tidy, the caravan was excellent and the staff were pleasant, welcoming and helpful. Mrs C, Swindon, Wiltshire 30 August 2009
The caravan was excellent and exactly as shown in the brochure. Nicely positioned on the park with views of Black Coombe and the beach. The owners were very friendly and keen to offer advice and information. The park is well located for all sorts of activities across the Lake District. Mrs C, Swindon, Wiltshire 29 August 2009
This is a very clean caravan park, but very quiet and relaxing. The beach is just a two minute stroll away and all the facilities of the Lake District are within easy reach by car. Mrs B, Altrincham, Cheshire 16 August 2009
The park is nice and quiet and within walking distance to the sea which the children loved. The staff where so helpful and friendly and we had a great time! Mr T, Aylesford, Kent 09 August 2009
Fantastic quality accommodation and a tidy and quiet park near a great beach! Mrs M, EDINBURGH 02 August 2009
Silecroft Holiday Park is a quiet and secluded park with many indoor and outdoor attractions within driving distance. A fabulous base for those wanting the peace and quiet to return to. Ms. B, Glasgow, East Renfrewshire 20 July 2009
It was super - the scenery was spectacular, the caravan site was good, caravan was clean, the staff were friendly and helpful. We could go for walks, play on the beach, go swimming, climb the hills and if we still wanted something to do there was nearby sight seeing in and around the lakes. Superb location. Mr N, Nottingham 20 July 2009
It was a quiet ,scenic park and the accommodation was excellent! Mr R, DERBY 03 July 2009
